Our Coach: Zhaolong Shen
Zhaolong Shen has been working in R&D engineering companies for more than 10 years. He got his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, MS degree in Mechatronics from University of Science and Technology of China, and Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University. He is the FW lead for KLA GPG/Stage. Zhaolong worked on many STEM areas including: control, algorithm, firmware, imaging/optics, machine learning, image processing, instrument development etc.. Jason Shen
Jason Shen is the software lead for Alpha Robotics and is currently a sophomore in Northwood High School. This is his first year doing FTC. He is interested in coding and robotics. He has 5 years of experience with coding, and 2 years of experience with electronics. He is NAR Jr. Lvl 1 Certified.
John Chen
John Chen is the hardware lead for Alpha Robotics and is currently a sophomore in Portola High School. This is his first year doing FTC. He used to join rocket and drone clubs and learn mechanical assembly.
Angela Lin
Angela Lin is the digital design lead for Alpha Robotics and is currently a sophomore at Sage Hill High School. This is her first year of FTC and is looking forward to gaining new experiences in this role.

Tony Lin
Tony Lin is a software team member for Alpha robotics. He is in 8th grade at Rancho San Joaquin Middle School and it is his first year doing FTC. He is interested in robotics and hopes to learn more about coding and electronics.
Maximus Xiao
Maximus Xiao is a software team member for Alpha robotics. He is in 7th grade at Rancho San Joaquin Middle School. This is his first year doing FTC. Learning coding and robotics.
Andy Shen
Andy is a hardware team member for Alpha robotics. He is a 8th grader at Sierra vista middle school and it is his first year in FTC team.
Ethan Le
Ethan Le is a member of the software team for Alpha robotics. He is in 7th grade at Laurel Springs Online School. This is his first year doing REV robotics. He is interested in coding and has been coding for 5 years.
Ryan Wang
Ryan Wang is a hardware team member for Alpha Robotics, he is currently a sophomore in Portola High school.This is his first year doing FTC,he wants to learn more about designing robotics and getting experience about this part.
Ricky Wang
Ricky Wang is hardware team member for Alpha Robotics, he is a tenth grader in Portola high school, this is his first year doing robots, and it is his first year doing FTC.He wishes to learn more and gain more experience in hardware and robots. He is clever and good at hardware, he loves playing chess and he likes math.
